Greetings

Gyeongsangbuk-do Culture and Tourism Organization (GCTO) is a provincial public enterprise leading the realization of a new Gyeongsangbuk-do through
the power of culture and tourism in this era of local autonomy. Gyeongsangbuk-do boasts the nation's largest collection of tangible and intangible
UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Seokguram Grotto and Bulguksa Temple,
as well as over 2,300 diverse cultural assets. It stands as the heart of Korea's culture and tourism, harmonizing pristine natural resources
such as the East Coast, Baekdudaegan Mountain Range, and Nakdong River. At this core, we aim to create a cultural tourism platform that encompasses both culture and nature, connecting the mountain villages of Baekdudaegan, riverside villages of Nakdong River, and fishing villages of the East Coast into a seamless network. Through this innovative cultural tourism development, we strive to overcome the crisis of local extinction and establish a sustainable growth engine for Gyeongsangbuk-do.

With the opening of Daegu-Gyeongbuk Integrated New Airport, Pohang Yeongilman
New Port, and Ulleungdo Airport, the skies and seas of Gyeongsangbuk-do are unveiling
new industrial and tourism landscapes. We are committed to cultivating Gyeongsangbuk-do tourism that extends beyond Korea to the world, through new cultural tourism content. Focusing our capabilities on hosting the 2025 APEC Summit in Gyeongju and marking
the 50th anniversary of GCTO's establishment in 2025, we take pride in half a century of
Korean tourism and will serve as a catalyst in preparing for the next 50 years in this era of
local autonomy. Thank you.
